One of the overriding reason for using the services and the materials from this store has been the exemplary customer service and advocacy exuded by its employees. The prices were compatible with any other similar establishment, but the service by its employees made it our store of choice. Their ubiquitous smiles and warm greetings have made my trips to the store a positive and enjoyable experience.
Not too long ago we needed a new refrigerator. I spent many days and long hours checking for models and prices. At the end, this Lone Tree Home Depot came on top. Again!!! Not because of the prices. They were all compatible, but the customer service rendered by its employees.
Poor service, and no ownership - the guy at the blinds department thought it was a big hassle to get a few books out for me to look at for custom blinds, then walked away and didn't come back, so I walked and bought them at Lowe's instead. Also, had purchased a $300 smoker that had been clearly dropped, asked for them to take a look at the replacement one, and assemble it to ensure everything looked alright, but they refused to do so, wanting me to bring in the damaged item first, meaning 2 trips and extra effort. Will never shop at Home Depot again, time to make the switch to Lowe's!
I have been blessed by coming to this Lone Tree Home Depot for the last 20 yrs., since we moved here from California and purchased a house not too far from the store. We remodeled, practically did a complete changeover of our house with materials exclusively from this store. Flooring all around, huge brand new deck, 35 some windows, etc., etc. Just to name a few.
Kudos to the above employees of the Lone Tree Home Depot store!!!! They are an asset to this store’s organization. The Lone Tree Home Depot store should be fortunate to have such employees!!!!
With my several trips to the store and at times to only check if there is something new, or just to chat with the employees, my wife Vessie jokingly named it as being my second home.
Don in the flooring or carpet department is a Rock Star! He was super helpful, helped me think outside the box for solutions to my carpet issues, and very friendly. Don make the Lone Tree Home Depot THE Home Depot to shop at! Great service throughout the store. Everyone is friendly and helpful!
Ordered a dishwasher from Home depot online, because Home Depot doesn't have ANY dishwashers on had for their customers. Received an automated call 4 days after the order and an email stating the order would be delivered from 7am-7pm. Home depot's delivery service contacted my at 2pm while I was at work and said you have 15 minutes to be here or the order would be moved to the following week. Lady on the line said that they delivery until 8pm, but delivery times are generated by a computer, and she had no ability to schedule a time that works for the customer. I asked if the dishwasher could be delivered to the store, as it is only 3 miles from my house. They couldn't do that either. I then called the store and talked to Bill (O'Brian?), who is the department head. He told me that he couldn't do anything to resolve the issue, and that he "could sit here and argue with you" but nothing will change. Pretty poor business. No calls or effort made by home depot to deliver the dishwasher in a time that works for the customer, or at least deliver it to the store?! Terrible customer service! BTW, the dishwasher is cheaper at Lowe's....
Ms. Sherrie Spring and Messrs. Craig Dockel, Jerry Palmer, Joe Man and Javid Tokh spent hours over few days to explain the differences as well as the advantages of the different models. They went way beyond the extra mile. Not so did the employees of the other stores. And, obviously, from my years of experience with the many employees of their store, I was not surprised. Such customer service and advocacy was ingrained in their “fabric,” in their human nature.
